Many of us are old enough to remember mandatory Home Economics class in Junior or Senior High School. Some of us have horror stories about things we learned or should have learned there.

If you think of yourself as “in recovery” from 20th Century Home Ec, or you never had the opportunity to take it — this is for you. HOME EC 101 is a monthly drop-in class for those who need to learn skills or just get some help and support in a safe environment. Stacy Sharman teaches Home Ec 101 from 6:15 to 8:15 pm on the First Tuesday of the month (November 1 is the next meeting).

Stacy’s a young and high energy teacher with a laid back attitude. This drop-in is NOT for those of you who just… need to… match your points… MORE perfectly, but Stacy will cover basic skills and you may get help from other students as well, because that’s how quilters are.

There is no advanced sign up for this evening session, and the fee is $10.  Bring what you’re working on, and a good attitude. We look forward to seeing you there!
