Williams Mandala: Layered Applique

Mandala: Layered Applique

with Judith Epstein-Williams

Saturday, July 12 & 26, 2025    11:00-3:00 each day

$150.00 for both classes

This two-part class will teach you to create beautiful mandala designs using a layering technique taught by Rachelle Denneny, an Australian quilter. While Rachelle finishes her pieces with a machine, Judith will teach you her own design and method using hand sewing for a different effect. The first class will explain the process and guide you through breaking down the design for applique to auditioning and preparing the individual pieces for layering. You will need the time between classes to prepare all your pieces. In part two, Judith will show you how to put it all together and sew it into a solid unit before you applique it onto your backing fabric.
