BEGINNING PAPER PIECING

Learn to use paper or foundation piecing techniques to create a variety of simple or more complex quilt blocks. You can turn the pieced blocks into a sampler or larger quilt if you choose. The class will also cover fabric selection, design, construction, borders, and finishing techniques. Experienced quilters who have never used foundations will enjoy this class too.

BEGIN with BOW TIES

Learn quilt construction from start to finish in this beginning class. We cover fabric selection, design and layout, cutting, construction of blocks, sashing, borders, binding and basic machine quilting. Make a quilt top in your choice of fabrics using a basic Bow Tie block and prepare it in class for quilting.

BEGINNING PIECING by MACHINE

Master the fundamentals of machine patchwork and complete a quilt top. Be guided through choosing fabric, simple drafting, quick-piecing, template making and border construction. After this class, you're ready for almost any quilt adventure!

BEGINNING QUILTING

In this class you'll learn how to use the tools and techniques of the trade that make quilting easier. You'll also learn about fabric, color, basic strip piecing, and combining blocks, as you make this easy quilt top. 3 Weds: April 6, 13, 20 6:30-9:30pm
